Microsoft SharePoint is a web framework for building enterprise-class portals as a centralized location for data, lists, webpages, documents, and other digital materials. Although SharePoint is officially under the Microsoft Office banner, SharePoint is shipped as an individual set of products and not directly included in any Microsoft Office suite edition.
